The leopard’s claw pendant is exchanged for the blue silk umbrella by Binya. In response to Ram Bharosa’s frenzied and desperate state, she makes an unimaginable decision.

A simple umbrella does not cover everything, as she says. She displays humility and sensibility in this way. As a result of her act, the old shopkeeper feels positive energy. In short, this sweet story offers both heroism and redemption and would make a perfect read for children and adults alike.

A beautiful umbrella ends with a beautiful message that there is more joy in giving than owning. The story conveys many emotions, such as joy for small things, materialistic joy, kindness, and jealousy over the umbrella. Binya struggles to keep the umbrella from everyone and finally decides to give it away when she suddenly realizes she cannot do that.

The story revolves around a simple village girl and the characters that surround her. Each of them has their own set of flaws, which they eventually overcome after a process of self-examination.

Ruskin Bond’s books are incredibly amazing, innocent, and pure. But the guys who translated it (Ninestars Information Technologies Ltd.) have done a terrible job. There are also some spelling mistakes in the first alphabet of every chapter. Rather than Ninestars Information Technologies Ltd. making the Kindle edition, I think another company would have been better suited for the job.
